Owner and proprietor Camelia together with her husband Richard are the people behind The Home Cooking Co.
 
Camelia was mentored by her father, top London chef, Louis Rodriguez , later working alongside him in his own restaurant. She was also inspired by mother Doris who had her own high quality outside catering business serving private homes and embassies in London.
 
Her Andalucian Grandmother spent many hours teaching her the wonderful flavours and choices of the region. A spell in southern India is where she acquired her passion for the food of India.

Camelia was recently on national television in the BBC series "Eating With The Enemy"  with celebrity Chef James Martin. The competition to find the nations best home cook saw Camelia take both Local and South of England titles and go on to be placed in the top three nationally.
 
Prior to coming to Spain she had her own recipe page in a popular Dorset Magazine along with running a private Luncheon Club just outside of Poole, catering for 65 or so people every week.
 
What we Do...
 
Whatever your reason for having a meal at home please ring us to discuss your requirements. We will call to see you and together, produce a menu of your choice. All ingredients are sourced locally, mainly from local markets and suppliers. On the day we can provide a full service to include table lay out, cooking, service and clearing everything away.. so you just relax and enjoy the meal with your guests.
